Philip Hoffman

I grew up in Chicago. I joined Actors' Equity in 1979 when a  new musical I was in moved    from Wisdom Bridge downtown   to The Drury Lane.                         

I moved to New York in 1981.

 

I was cast in my first Broadway show, about six weeks later.

The show closed the day after it opened, but I stayed.
